It is my mission in life to help people with hearing problems to be able to overcome them without having to purchase bulky items that may be outside the average person's financial pocket. I have found a company that is particularly good at helping their customers and also provides a diverse range of equipment and services. Connevans provides products for both hearing and visually impaired people and provides a huge range of products that are reasonably priced. I am hearing impaired in both ears myself, and, even though I cannot hear the
headset at work (I work in a call centre), Connevans supply a sort of mini
personal loop system called a "Music Link"
If you use a mobile phone that has a 3.5mm socket either in the phone or the adaptor for the phone, you can still use the music link, also with bluetooth adaptors. If you use a bluetooth adaptor, please be careful which you get because not all are wired correctly for the music link. Often these adaptors tend to be only available on specialised web sites such as Nokia.com and ebay.com. You may find them on other sites too but may need to search for them.
