Privacy Policy
I value my privacy as much as the next person. As I take a very dim view of
people passing my details on to others without my express permission, I hold the
opinion that most other people are the same, and therefore, will never pass any
information obtained either from this site, from any communication either by
telephone, email, letter, or any other method, on to any other party (including
family members) without your express permission.
Although I am a private individual, I do work in a call centre and deal with
peoples personal details all the time, and as a result, have my own version of
Data Protection. I cannot afford to be covered by the commercial data
protection, as you appreciate, this would be very expensive. My own personal
data protection is very strict and is set up in such a way that your information
will never be passed on without your permission. I prefer this to be either by
email direct from you, or in writing.
If there is something you would like to contact me about and it is of a
sensitive nature, and you are unsure how I will stop your information being
shared, don’t hesitate to contact me. Any emails will be saved externally and
encrypted using a secure system, and then the email that was received (not the
saved version) will be destroyed.
I generally only keep information for a maximum of 6 months or until the matter
is satisfactorily resolved. By request of contacts this period of time can be
changed with ease.
